1. Information We Collect

Account information you provide directly: email address and display name. Family content created in the app: family name, child profile names and optional photos, tasks, points history, cash-out records, and optional task proof photos. We also collect basic usage data such as IP address, device type, and pages visited.

2. Children's Privacy

PointPurse is a family app managed by parents. Child profiles are created by a parent or guardian, and child logins exist only through a parent-generated invite link. We collect from child accounts only what the app needs to work (name, tasks, points, and photos the family chooses to add). We do not show ads, and we never sell personal information. A parent can remove a child's login or delete any child profile and its data at any time.

3. How We Use Your Information

To run the service: sync your family's tasks and points across devices, send push notifications you enable (task completions, approvals, reminders, cash-out updates), send transactional emails, and comply with legal obligations. Points and cash-out records are a family bookkeeping tool — PointPurse does not hold or transfer money.

4. Service Providers

We use third-party providers for hosting, file storage, analytics, email delivery, push notifications, and error monitoring — only as needed to operate the service.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page; parents can archive child profiles from Settings. Deleting your account removes your personal information from active systems.
